Nokia 9 PureView User Guide & Review – The Nokia 9 PureView became the world’s first smartphone to use the five cameras on the back that have a ZEISS license. The five-camera lenses have a 12MP (f/1.8 aperture) resolution sensor with different functions (2 cameras for recording color and three cameras for recording black and white).
Individual ASIC chips control these five cameras; unlike multi-cameras on other phones, these five Nokia PureView cameras work concurrently to capture the light and collect depth data to make good photos with dynamic range of 12.4 Stop.
When shooting, the five cameras will take different exposure photos simultaneously, and then incorporate co-processor (ASIC chip) algorithms and multi-frame synthesis to produce higher quality photos.
The Nokia 9 PureView uses a full-screen 5.99-inch P-OLED display with a resolution of 1440 × 2880 pixels and a 79.76% display rate. For hardware, this Nokia 9 PureView is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845, which is driven by 6GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
Another feature Nokia 9 PureView has is its on-screen fingerprint sensor as well as its IP67 waterproof and dustproof support, for durability provided the battery with a capacity of 3320 mAh. The battery also supports fast charging 18W and Qi wireless charging.
