Xiaomi Redmi K50, Redmi K50 Pro User Manual & Review – Redmi K50 has lower specifications than the Pro version, especially in terms of performance, camera, and much more.
Redmi K50 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8100 chipset. The newly released chipset in early March was designed with 5 nm fabrication. This chipset is paired with 8/12 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of media storage.
For the camera, the Redmi K50 also has three rear cameras like the Pro version, but with a lower main camera resolution, which is 48 MP. Two other rear cameras, namely an 8 MP ultra-wide camera and a 2 MP macro camera. While the front camera has a resolution of 20 MP.
The Redmi K50 has a 5,500 mAh battery, which is bigger than the Redmi K50 Pro version. However, this battery only supports 67W fast charging. In addition, in general, the Redmi K50 has the same specifications as the Pro version. Redmi K50 also has a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen with QHD Plus resolution.
This smartphone screen has also been coated with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protective glass. Then there is a selfie camera with the exact same resolution, which is a 20 MP (with Sony IMX596) sensor.
The chipset in the Redmi K50 Pro is the first smartphone chipset (MediaTek Dimensity 9000) built on 4 nm fabrication, which is claimed to increase performance while increasing power efficiency. This chipset is paired with 8/12 GB of RAM and 128/256/512 GB of media storage.
The Redmi K50 Pro has a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 120W fast charging and is claimed to be able to fully charge the phone (from 0-100%) in 19 minutes.
